The Cyclone towers over the Coney Island boardwalk in Brooklyn at the corner of Surf and Stillwell.
Back in August, during “bootcamp” at Columbia Journalism School, I went out to Coney Island to visit The Cyclone.
For those who didn’t grow up in the New York City area, The Cyclone is an antique wood-and-steel roller coaster that dates back to the 1920s.
I produced and voiced this audio postcard about my visit. I hope you enjoy it – and if you head down to Coney Island, be sure and ride The Cyclone!
